A perfumed delight! Fresh rose petals, bay, coriander, macadamia nuts, citrus zest and cardamom come together to create this delicately balanced gin. More floral than herbaceous on the nose but complex to taste, with the range of botanicals coming through, including sweeter citrus and macadamia tones.
Best for: A more floral G&T or Gin cocktail.
Meet the Maker
Nestled in a small English village on the outskirts of Cambridge is Dr. Walters' small copper pot distillery.
A biochemistry graduate from Oxford, Dr. Walters worked in the spirits industry for many years. When he heard a radio show stating Eau De Vie production in England was impossible - he set out to prove them wrong!
Every aspect and ingredient is carefully managed by Dr Walters. This includes five varieties of coriander, fresh lemon zest, limes, oranges, macadamia nuts and grated angelica root. To ensure high quality, he only uses the hearts of the distilled spirit, discarding entirely the heads and the tails during production.
Why say it with roses, when you can say it with rose petal gin!
Try sipping neat over crushed ice with a couple of capers, or with tonic and a chunk of lime.
For an inspired Martini, simply pour ice cold over a freshly plucked and torn bay leaf, a thin twist of lime and three salted capers. Relax, and enjoy!
If you want to up your G&T, try with Melbourne's very own Blood Moon tonic syrup - your G&T will never be the same!
