How long will it take to deliver?
We currently ship from our small warehouse outside the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
All orders require 1 - 3 business days to prepare prior to shipping, although we aim to ship within 2 business days. Allow this plus the shipping timeframe below for a rough guide to what you can expect (please note these are averages and it can be quicker or longer):
- Melbourne Metro: 2 - 3 business days
- Regional VIC: 3 - 5 business days
- Sydney Metro: 2 - 4 business days
- Adelaide & Brisbane Metro: 3 - 5 business days
- Perth Metro, Regional NSW, SA: 5 - 7 business days
- Regional WA, regional QLD and NT take between 7 - 15 business days,
- Tasmania 4 - 6 business days
What locations do we ship to?
We ship to all Australian locations (except islands, dry and other restricted areas) and can ship most products internationally, excluding wine based products. You can get an accurate estimate of your delivery cost by adding your items to the cart and entering your postcode.
Please note, we do not ship to P.O.Boxes unless Australia Post is chosen as the delivery method. Our Capped Price shipping option cannot deliver to P. O. Boxes or remote islands and with this option, we reserve the right to utilise the most cost effective delivery method.
If capped price shipping is selected for non-metro locations, we reserve the right to delay your shipment pending any additional payment required for your delivery location.
We strongly recommend using a business address for delivery if available. Residential addresses may cause missed delivery issues which may delay you receiving your parcel.
Unattended Deliveries & Conditions:
All orders must be received by persons aged 18 or older and a signature may be required upon delivery.
You can request an unattended delivery (i.e. left at your door step) if no one is at home. However, our carriers reserve the right to leave a card (instead of your order) even if you request an unattended delivery to comply with liquor licencing laws. If no request is made, alcohol deliveries will require a signature and will not be left at the delivery address unattended, instead being delivered to your local depot after unsuccessful delivery attempts for your collection. Even where requested, they may not leave where:
- There is no clear delivery instruction authorising them to leave the parcel in a safe place
- Somebody is home but they cannot provide proof of age
- The driver is concerned that minors are present in the vicinity of your premises
PLEASE NOTE: Where unattended delivery is requested, it is your responsibility to ensure the security of the items. Refunds will not be considered where goods are subsequently missing when authorisation to leave is given. Please be aware of this risk and understand the implications of this when requesting unattended delivery.
Unattended delivery is not available for:
- Orders paid for by gift card or eVouchers
- Premises that do not receive daily roadside letter delivery from Australia POST or our Courier partners
The following areas are classified by the Australian Government as dry zones or Australian Islands that are classified as in International Waters. If your order is placed to this area we will not be able to fulfill your order and will swiftly issue a refund.
Delivery into the areas specified is restricted and Amfora and its couriers will not deliver to the following postcodes/locations:

Capped Price Shipping:
Our capped price shipping offer keeps delivery costs for heavy items (e.g. bottled goods) to a minimum. This shipping option is available to Capital Cities only (excluding Darwin). Our regional shipping prices are also subsidised to keep costs to a minimum. We generally use Fastway and Toll IPEC for delivery via Sendle or MailMan (Officeworks).
Where multiple orders are placed to the same recipient and address our policy is to combine items into one larger shipment. In this scenario, we will pack on order in its own box within a larger shipping box. This helps keep shipping costs to a minimum.
Where capped price shipping is selected, but the delivery location is not within a metro area, we will contact you to confirm the additional delivery cost or to cancel the order depending on your preferences.
Please note, Capped Price Shipping does not apply to volume orders, including wedding favours.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we are able to ship to most countries. Please be advised that it is the purchasers responsibility to ensure all local customs regulations are met although we are happy to advise where we can. Please note, we are unfortunately not able to offer our happiness guarantee for international orders and our free and capped priced shipping options are only available to our Australian customers. We will happily research any delivery restrictions for your destination to assist in your purchase.
We are currently unable to ship our wine products (e.g. Elderberry Wine) outside Australia due to local regulations.
